HOME OF THE HAWKS!!
WELCOME TO TAYLOR MOUNTAIN!!
Taylor Mountain Elementary School, bordered by a magnificent green hillside, houses students from Transitional Kindergarten to Sixth grade. As one of the four elementary schools in the Bellevue Union School District, we strive to provide an academically enriched curriculum that is fully aligned with the Common Core State Standards.
Our students are well versed in being safe, responsible and respectful both on the playground and in the classroom. As our classrooms partner together, the older students become mentors for our younger students.
We are fortunate to have many after school programs and partnerships within the community that provide enrichment activities for our students: sports programs for 4th-6th grades (volleyball, basketball); choral program; CalServes (Cool School); Boys and Girls Club; Outdoor Education program for 6th grade; as well as many standards supported field trips and community presentations.
At Taylor Mountain, we believe that students come first. We strive to provide increased opportunities for our students that both encourage and support them so that they are able to achieve, meet and surpass their absolute fullest potential. Whether on the playground or in the classroom, our students are active participants in their education. As a staff, we support them fully as they travel through their elementary years.
As the new principal, I am delighted to spend the day with your children and proud to be a member of the Taylor Mountain staff.
Here's to a wonderful 'Hawk' filled year!
