Schools in the Bellevue Union School District will remain closed this week. The fires just over the hill continue to contribute to the poor air quality in our attendance areas, especially Kawana Springs and Taylor Mountain. Our next projected reopen date will be Monday, October 23rd; however, as you know this decision will be based on current conditions at that time.

Hello Taylor Mountain Families!
CHECK IN AT THE OFFICE PRIOR TO GOING TO CLASS
As a reminder, it is essential that if you arrive on the Taylor Mountain campus after 8:00 a.m., you check in at the school office upon arrival. This is an essential measure that protects the safety of our students in addition to protecting their academic class time with their teacher. Class instruction begins each day at 8:00 a.m. . Thank you.
SAFETY DURING SCHOOL ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
This is an important reminder about student arrival and dismissal procedures. Students may arrive at school via the crosswalk (if they walk to school), through the front entrance of the school, and the two 'breezeways' by the school office and cafeteria or by school bus.
Thank you all for your continued support as we implement our new arrival and dismissal procedures. In order to avoid the early morning traffic jam at Taylor Mountain, plan on leaving home earlier in the morning.
ARRIVING TO SCHOOL ON TIME, LEAVING EARLY
We are beginning to meet with families that are struggling to get their children to school on time. As a reminder, school begins at 8:00 each day. When a student enters class after the morning bell, they miss those precious educational moments. Please continue to make appointments for your children after the end of the academic day.
Thanks for all that you do for Taylor Mountain....our community partnership between family and staff ensures that Taylor Mountain students continue to soar!!
