Hello Taylor Mountain Families!
I am so thankful for the members of our Taylor Mountain family. Our dedicated staff works diligently each and every day to make sure that not only are your children taken care of but that they make academic and behavioral strides. With compassion and caring, we nurture our students and assist them in developing into the brilliant young men and women that they will become.
Our students at Taylor Mountain demonstrate their caring and dedication to excellence on a daily and sometimes hourly basis! The academic and behavioral changes that occur as children progress through the grades and mature in their awareness is such a gift.
To you, our Taylor Mountain parents, I am so thankful for your ongoing support and dedication to all that we do here. Your fierce devotion to your children and to their success is so valued and appreciated. Thank you for trusting us with your children each and every day..and allowing us to be a part of both their and your lives.
Just a reminder that every Wednesday, is a minimum day with early dismissal. School is dismissed at 12:25 p.m.. If you should happen to arrive late, you may be required to sign your student out and show identification.
TK AND KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS JANUARY 11, 2017
It is that time of year again to be thinking about enrolling your 5 year old child into a fabulous kindergarten program. We provide a rich academic and behaviorally supportive environment for our students. We continue to offer healthy, home cooked food in our Cafeteria and all students participate in physical education classes multiple times each week. In addition, all of our kindergarten students are highly encourged to attend our Kinder Academy which occurs two weeks prior to the start of the new academic year. This program provides a transition for students into our kindergarten program. TK enrollment also begins at this time.
BRINGING TREATS TO SCHOOL
Please follow the nutritional guidelines when bringing treats to your child's classroom. This information is attached in the sidebar. In addition, talk with your child's teacher prior to bringing any food items for the class. It is important as well to remember to check in at the office any time that you are on campus.
ONLINE LEARNING ACCESS AVAILABLE NOW AT HOME
Our Taylor Mountain students are now able to access digital on line learning from the comfort of your home. With any digital device that is able to access the internet, students are able to log in and participate in the same programs that they use at school. They are all aware of their passwords and can log in and practice reading and math. The links are listed above on the side column of this page. In addition, a flyer was sent home this week with all of the pertinent information.
Smile....enjoy your family...see you in January.
